Pretty good phone. I had a galaxy s20 FE before this. This one is really not much different. In fact I liked the curved edges on the FE better. I kinda wish I got higher model that has the curved edge. It was a few hundred more but maybe worth it. So this phone is good but nothing spectacular compared to my old model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My s24+ came earlier than the expected date. It came well protected and well cushioned. It's working perfectly. No problems. Amazing battery life, great camera, tons of space, tons of customization. This phone got it all. Samsung is the best

Really great piece of hardware. Very fast and functional, nice package. However the software wasn't as useful as it could have been. Couldn''t get media player controls and text message previews on the lock screen. There was one obscure setting that allowed me to get the text message previews on the lock screen, but nothing for my podcast app controls. I had to open the phone to get to the podcast app controls, not fun when I was out taking a walk. And there were other conveniences that I was used to that also weren't provided.
Otherwise a really nice phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With the S24+, you can use Live Translate with Galaxy AI to speak foreign languages on the fly. This nifty feature provides near-real-time voice translations right through your Samsung Phone app. We've taken note of your concern about controlling your media player on the lock screen. To add the media player widget to your lock screen, follow these steps: Go to Settings > Select Lock screen and AOD > Tap on Widgets > Select Music to toggle on the widget on your lock screen. If you're still not seeing the widget after doing this, it might be due to the application you are using. Top marks for set up and ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently use the new phone mainly for communications and streaming, and appreciate the enhanced display (QHD) over my old s21+. I will be using the phone to shoot video that will be used in a course on multimedia composition I teach, so having top quality footage and images will be vital. Overall, the phone has had good functionality and works as smoothly as the old phone did.
