Numerous cracks in the housing causing heavy water leaks

This unit was purchased for my new home in 2011. I have had problems with the blade not wanting to turn for a good while but today it poured water on the floor. When I looked under the housing red cover, it had about 10 cracks in the gray housing cover. This is my salad sink disposal and was seldom used.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
