I like that it monitors but still loses Bluetooth connection

Different factors may be interfering with Bluetooth connectivity such as the distance between the charger and the probe, incompatible or heavily insulated appliances, wrapping the probe in foil, or cooking in a covered dish. Did a turkey with it said it was done and it was nowhere near done had to rely on the pop-up sensor on the turkey

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. All of our Pro Collection units are equipped with 5 internal sensors, which often provides more room for placement errors. Additionally, our probes are calibrated using certified tools to ensure accuracy, making it uncommon for them to cause temperature reading discrepancies. Best purchase I have ever made for our kitchen! As a small business owner, mom and coach, I need all the down time at home I can get. Now I can cook great dinners stress free and even get a Peloton ride in while the MEATER keeps me update and on time!

App very useful compared to other products, works well when connected but I just wish I could enter my house without it disconnecting

Hello, and thank you for providing your feedback on the MEATER Pro. If you are not getting very good range between the charger and your phone, there is a way to use your home’s WiFi network to extend the distance to anywhere that your router has a signal with the MEATER Link service. This simply involves using a second smart device (see compatible devices at support.meater.com/faqs/compatible-devices) to pair with the charger, which then transfers the cook data to your WiFi network, and any other devices within range of your router. Additionally, if you also sign up for our free MEATER Cloud service, the same cook information can be sent to your online account, then forwarded to your cellphone, regardless of how it is connected to the internet. Even if your phone switches from one connection type to another (e.g., WiFi to data), there will be a brief pause, then the app will automatically pickup where it left off. I don't know how I lived without this. Still figuring out few things. Bluetooth distance needs work. Wish the block connected to wifi instead of having another home mobile device connect to block then connect.
