This has helped me cook the best chicken I have ever eaten! I love how it takes all the guesswork out of a cook.

Hi there, we love hearing this, nothing beats nailing juicy chicken. Cooking to internal temperature is the real secret: use a probe and pull breast meat around 160–165°F, then let it rest so it stays moist. If you want crisper skin, finish the cook hotter for a few minutes to render and crisp it up.
So far, we are very satisfied with our new MEATER Pro. We bought it because we were so impressed with the one our friends own - and we have not been disappointed. I particularly like the ‘remove from heat’ notification and the resting time indicator. And we haven’t had an under-or overdone meat entree since buying it!

Love hearing this, thanks for sharing. The remove from heat alert and resting timer are designed to account for carryover cooking, so you hit your target doneness without under or overcooking. Keep the app updated to get the latest accuracy improvements, and if you haven’t already, try custom alerts and Cook History to dial in your favorite cooks even more.
This is my second item. These work very well, up to 450 F. When fixing steaks on the grill, it is really better to leave the probe out until the searing process is done, as the internal temperature of the BBQ can get well over 500 F for a period. i then insert the probe and finish the meat with a lower temperature.

Hello Jim, thanks for sharing the tip. During a hard sear, the air right at the grate level can spike well above the set temperature, which can be rough on any meat probe. Pulling the probe for the sear and inserting it once you bring the grill back down to finish is a solid approach. A reverse sear works too: cook at a lower temp until you’re a few degrees shy, remove the probe, sear hot, then rest.
Appreciate you helping others get great results and protect their gear. Enjoy those steaks.
Best wireless thermometer on the market! Meater is reliable and ensures you get the perfect cook on anything you throw on the grill.

Hi there, we love hearing that, thanks for the shoutout. MEATER’s designed to stay reliable so you can focus on the cook, and features like Estimated Cook Time and carryover rest in the app make it even easier to hit your target. Quick tip: seat the probe past the safety notch and avoid bone or thick fat for the most accurate temps.
Excellent addition to my bbq needs. Comes in handy when doing long cooks

Kept losing the signal. However, it connected back in few seconds and my steaks came out perfectly cooked.

Thanks for sharing your experience. We are glad to hear your steaks turned out perfectly cooked. Brief signal drops can happen depending on your cooking appliance or distance, but it’s great that the probe reconnected quickly and still guided your cook well. If you’d like help strengthening the connection for next time, we’re always here to support you.

LOVE my Meater Pro! I use it for everything. Smoking (check), deep frying (check), baking (check), pan frying (check)... makes it so much easier! My hubs loves a rare steak... still moo'ing, and I won't eat anything with pink in it, so the app is game changer telling you when to pull the meat and how long to let it rest.
