Disappointed in the product

My meter is very fickle. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t. Very frustrating. Not to mention I can not monitor my cook outside of the home.

Thank you for your review. If you would like to extend your range and connect to WI-FI, allowing you to monitor the cook anywhere as long as your smart device is connected to Wi-Fi, we can use MEATER Link. You will need another smart device that can act as a bridge from your MEATER product's Bluetooth to your home’s Wi-Fi. Game Changer

I received a MEATER Pro for Christmas and it is the best present I have received. It is a total game changer, I have used it on both the oven and the BBQ and the results have been superb. I love the fact you can see in real time how the cook is going and having a recipe page on the app is also a big plus.
I bought this device to replace my Meater Plus which developed issues over time. The Pro is better, but not necessarily good, at least not yet. Its supposedly functional if submerged in water but when I had it inserted into a piece of corned beef in simmering water, it would not/could not connect. On the positive side, I used it on a charcoal grill that flared up and it alerted me to this condition. I am looking forward to getting this devise to perform up to my expectations.

Hi, and thanks for your review of the MEATER Pro. It may not be the water that is really interfering with the connection as much as it is the pot. Very thick metal pots can reduce the range, especially when a lid is used, though this can usually be offset by keeping the charger as close as safely possible the probes. As long as the signal can reach the charger, the charger should reach your phone without issue. Makes the cooking process easier

I bought the meter pro for Christmas and it has been such a delight, it makes every part off the process simpler and I have yet to screw up a dish sense I got it.
