I have tried other wireless thermometers, and keep coming back to MEATER. I bought the pro because I do a lot of rotisserie cooking on my Kamado grill and I like to stoke up the coals and get a good sear. The pro performs exactly as advertised!

I have used to Meater Pro and found that it is well made, but the probe cannot be connected to a wireless network, only communicates to the Meater app via bluetooth. That means you have to be close to the probe to get info. The Meaterblock solution allows to connect to the wireless network, with greater range.

I like the new probes but haven’t seen much difference from my other ones except for the higher temp range. I have found the outside the food temps very and the cook times are all over the place. Was it worth the price I just don’t know yet time will tell
