My problem is I keep losing the signal to my mobile phone. The transmitter box was with in 2 feet or less to the devises. How can I improve the signal?

I bought this to replace my old Meater that has limited range with my phone app. This new one does no better.

I have used my new MEATER Pro 2 a couple of times now, one for cooking fish and the other time for cooking a ribeye steak. Both meals came out perfect. I love not having to find the center of the meat. With four plus sensors in the probe it takes the guess work out. I plan on purchasing new MEATER Pro 2 for Holliday gifts.
