Short battery life

My needs are heavier duty than this product provides. Ok for sweeping and light cleanup but at higher demand battery only lasted 10 minutes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our 20V batteries work on a variety of tools and have average runtimes of up to 30 minutes. However, blowers use more power and when the blower is on the highest setting it will deplete the battery's power more quickly.
For added runtime, we recommend purchasing an additional battery to assist with tackling larger tasks. WORX offers high capacity 20V 4.0Ah, 6.0Ah and 8.0Ah lithium batteries that will increase your runtime with twice the amp hours of our standard battery.

Light and Easy to Use!

This is our third WORX string trimmer. We bought our first one years ago for weeds and grass, and eventually wore it out. Then we purchased WORX Trimmer No. 2 and our whole family wanted to use it (at the same time!), so we bought Trimmer No. 3. They are valuable tools around our property, light and extremely easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Trims grass quickly but if you have a really thick clump to cut down it takes a little effort because the string is light weight. Very easy to adjust the height and convert to a trimmer. The battery lasts longer than I thought it would. With the indicator on the battery it is very easy to check the charge remaining.

Finally received the order two weeks after the delivery day. So far the GT is living up to its billing. I am having some issues with the string not feeding and it looks like the string is melting on itself and will not feed. I'm on my first and original spool.
