This thing is the deal!

I've only used it once since purchasing, but I gotta tell ya, this thing is the deal. I did a couple of hillsides of knee high weeds and was thoroughly impressed. My old gas trimmer has .095 line, so I was a little concerned about this one having the smaller .065 line. To my surprise, the smaller line actually worked better. It is such an improvement over the gas trimmer! With my old gas trimmer I had to dress like I was going to battle. Rubber boots, pants, gloves, long sleeve shirt, hearing and eye protection. With this trimmer, I took it out for a test run in just shorts, tennis shoes and eye protection. After an hour and a half of trimming tall weeds (two batteries), I barely had any clippings stuck to my shins, my hands and arms weren't aching, and my ears were not ringing. It is such an improvement. And with the multitude of adjustments, you can vary the settings to make any cutting the most comfortable. After talking about my new toy with my wife, she said, "You really like this thing, don't you?" I said, "Yea, this thing is the deal".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best weed trimmer ever !! I swear I never write reviews but I felt I had too with this one, I’ve always told to never buy a battery operated Anything but with these double 20V batteries, I highly recommend this product..

Light weight, Works great

I bought this trimmer 3 weeks ago and have used 3 times. So nice not to have to mess with mixing gas and oil and pulling starter cord. Best sidewalk trimmer I have ever used. Light weight and powerful.

lightweight Dynamite

I bought this for myself for Christmas and it showed up a week later. My generic gas powered trimmer was heavy and caused me to lean and try to hold it up and cut, this caused back and leg strains. I charged it up and could not wait to try it out. My yard was a mess and I went to work. My neighbor told me it would take me weeks to get it under control. This trimmer went through the very large ornamental grasses like butter with no strain on my part. I trimmed bushes like a pro, I went to the Rose of Sharon trees and took them down to a 4 ft height. Lithrope was no match for my new blade. I went to the fences and took down the wild raspberry plants and wild grapevines, kiwi and butterfly bushes that were encroaching on the property. Many other plants were dried and hanging out in the flower beds and my trimmer definitely showed them who was the boss. I would reccomend this trimmer to anyone looking for Lightweight Dynamite. I am very pleased, and can't wait for spring so I can use it on the Rose bushes.

Great tool

I love my trimmer but it just started working intermittently. Battery is full so I think the motor may be failing. It’s still under warranty and I don’t see a replacement motor part anywhere. Can you please help?

Light weight, easy controls, double cutting blade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this trimmer and I am delighted with the item. It is lighter weight than other hedge trimmers I have had, the controls are easy to operate, and the blade cuts in both directions. This is imporatnt to me because I am old, partially disabled and left handed. The WORX is relatively light weight, the controls can be easily operated by a lefty with partial use of his hands. I was delighted to find that the front handle safety switch can be activated from any position on the handle. Plus, the double edged blade makes it easy to trim in any direction. So I was happy to add this tool to my other WORX tool collection.
