Short battery usage, very loud.

As a previous owner of a Worx lawn blower, I am very disappointed in this purchase. Previous blower battery lasted for 10 years with good usage. New battery gives 10 minutes of use and takes 5 hours to charge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To maximize the run time you get out of the battery, use the appropriate speed for the job at hand. Lower speeds are ideal for cleaning off hard surfaces, like driveways, sidewalks, patios, or garages. Faster speeds are ideal for cleaning the leaves out of your grass and use more power to give you the blowing force needed to get the job done. Since most clean-up jobs will involve switching between lower and higher speeds, actual run time results will vary. WORX does offer quick chargers that will charge the standard 2.0Ah 20-volt batteries in just 1 hour. Loving it. My first trimmer was the 18 v, which lasted several years, then I moved up to the 20 v which also lasted several years until it finally stopped. The extra power,4 .0 , self feeding line and spool storage gave solved my wish list from the old ones. I hope this one last as long as the others . Have to use weekly in Louisiana and pretty much all year round. All have been durable , everything worked fine until he bitter end.
