A liberating change!

I have Parkinson’s, so I have lost some of the dexterity in my hands. This made operating a corded string trimmer while hauling around an extension cord challenging. I researched battery-powered grass trimmers and chose the Worx GT Revolution. Cutting the cord has been liberating! It is lightweight, so it is easy to use, and it has sufficient power to trim our 1/3 acre yard. And while replacing the spool on our old trimmer was a clumsy challenge, I can change the spool on my Worx trimmer even with my shaky hands. The spool cap pops right off, and it is easy to thread the string. Thanks for making such a well-designed product!

Short battery usage, very loud.

As a previous owner of a Worx lawn blower, I am very disappointed in this purchase. Previous blower battery lasted for 10 years with good usage. New battery gives 10 minutes of use and takes 5 hours to charge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To maximize the run time you get out of the battery, use the appropriate speed for the job at hand. Lower speeds are ideal for cleaning off hard surfaces, like driveways, sidewalks, patios, or garages. Faster speeds are ideal for cleaning the leaves out of your grass and use more power to give you the blowing force needed to get the job done. Since most clean-up jobs will involve switching between lower and higher speeds, actual run time results will vary. WORX does offer quick chargers that will charge the standard 2.0Ah 20-volt batteries in just 1 hour. These guys have the best products AND customer service. I've had my string trimmer for several years now; between me and my daughter it gets used a lot. Still works like a champ. I ordered one for her for Christmas this year and was pleasantly surprised how fast it got here.
