Poor tool..6th use failed

Just poor quality...the twin is garbage and splits shreds...it's a coil type not straight line..WORST of all the blade to cut the line failed...the screw to hold it in is there but the spring steel cutter itself is MIA. Shatterd into pieces..poor quality stuff...yes lightweight and like the twist feature to use wheels...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Used it three times so far, plenty of power & battery life. I'll have to wait & see about the durability of the trimmer hence the 4 star ratings.

Super light and easy to operate

I have a bigger and more powerful battery powered unit from one of the big box stores, and although it works really well in heavy weeds and grass as it has much thicker line and is more powerful (40V), it's very tiresome to operate for more than 10 minutes at a time as it weighs so much and is much longer in length (non adjustable up to a point) and it does not have an edger option.
This WORKS GT is a dream to use. It's super light and is adjustable to a much shorter length. Although It won't tear through heavy weeds as the line is not real thick, it's great for around the house and yard and it doesn't tire me out. Love the edging option. The 4.0 battery lasts a long time! I do my entire half acre yard and still have power left.
I didn't like the assembly instructions. I had to go on YouTube for a video to figure out how to assemble this thing and how to switch from trimming to edging.

I have a 1 acre area with my house in the middle. I edged the sidewalks and driveway, then used it as a mower to trim the area my riding mower missed.
The battery lasted for my entire job.

Worn out in a year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought my weed eater on line. I've had it a bit over a year. Few days ago it stopped. Batteries were good. Down on the shaft grass debris had clogged shaft up. Once cleared needed parts replaced. Nope doesn't look like WORX has parts replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
