Many problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in a combo with the blower less than two months ago. The trimmer is now in the garbage. The string is weak and the system is poorly design, the tool has an extra large gard that gets in the way when trimming in thight spaces, if you remove the gard to be able to get in small spaces, then the string keeps growing (without pushing the button to release it) and becomes too large. It just a bad bad tool. NOT recommended.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your expereicne and review! The guard is on the tool for safety purposes to protect the user and also contains a blade to cut the line. The safety guard can be adjusted to your liking to prevent it from getting in the way when using the tool. Please check your email as I have contacted you offline for further assistance.

It works ok blowing off sidewalk and patio. The only negative is the length of time the battery lasts. I get about 10 minutes and have to recharge to finish up. Wish the battery lasted 20 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Previous Worx trimmer lasted too long!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 10+ years ago my wife had bought a Worx cordless trimmer. Never had a problem with it. Recently the battery charger became faulty and because it was so old it was outdated and couldn't be replaced.
I just bought the 20 volt GT Revolution with a 4a battery. What a great tool! Everything about it... from the hand trigger line feed to the length of the battery usage is incredible.
I have a 2 acre property. On the old one it would take me two or three charges to finish. This one has so much power and length of battery not only did I finished my property but I was able to go to my neighbor's yard and use it like a brush hog against some of the light brush/branches that were sticking out over our driveway. I would say the run time lasted at least an hour.
And for those that say your line feed isn't working. I thought the same thing at first. When you push the trigger it stops the trimmer. But I learned that it feeds the line out when it does this.
I can honestly say that I wish our old Worx trimmer hadn't lasted so long. The power of this new one is amazing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is our third string trimmer from Worx. They work great and we just wear them out using them. Dependable and reliable, and aside from the string and cap, mostly maintenance free. Very good ergonomics too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since purchasing my Worx string trimmer it I have used it everyday to service my customers lawns for the small lawn maintenance business I own and operate and it has held up famously! It’s light weight and very adjustable so the ergonomics of my trimmer save a lot of wear & tear on my hands and back and the edger has my customers complimenting me on their perfectly edged lawns! If you are thinking about switching to electric yard tools go with Worx as I use all their tools for my business and I promise you will not be disappointed.
