Nice Upgrade from Original One

I had my original Worx trimmer/edger for about 5 years until it stopped working this Spring. It NEVER let me down; always would get compliments on how straight the edges of my lawn and beds looked. The only feature I do not like is the adjustable shaft. My old one simply had a trigger you pulled and it would slide shaft up or down. This one you need to loosen and tighten a knob to get it to adjust and the height is never quite right.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am an old lady with a bad back who hates yard work. Weed whacking in our yard is a challenge. The wheels help keep pressure off my back, and this tool itself is lighter than my previous battery trimmer. I love the fact that it is an edger, too. And the battery lasts a long time. All in all, a very nice product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw this & decided to give it a try. I am a short (4’11”) senior citizen who has struggled to use our Pro Red Max. I love how everything adjusts. Length, grip, one touch feed button. It’s light weight, but has plenty of power. The battery life is very good.

Disappointing

After having used a few trimmers over the years I was excited to see the feature of the command feed.
It certainly wasn't what I had expected. The way the machine shuts off when you press it, and the very small amount of line that comes out, makes the machine awkward and difficult to use.
In fact, I thought something was wrong with the trimmer when I first received it as I couldn't believe how difficult it was to use, but the second machine I received was just as difficult to operate.
I was very pleased with the customer service department and they truly did seem to want to help, but this machine needs to be redesigned in my opinion. The command feed should thread more line and the machine should not shut off when pressed.
I am keeping the second machine I received in the hope that perhaps I will adjust to it as it did seem to trim well when I finally managed to get enough line fed through to be usable.

Finally received the order two weeks after the delivery day. So far the GT is living up to its billing. I am having some issues with the string not feeding and it looks like the string is melting on itself and will not feed. I'm on my first and original spool.
I would recommend this to a friend!
