Not happy with this purchase

I liked the design and features of my first WORX Trimmer/Edger better, but the battery wore out. It is hard to edge my grass with this new model and the guard gets in the way of getting close to my planter boxes to trim the grass.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointing

Initially, I really liked it. It does go through a battery rather quickly but what was really disappointing was the fact that it totally died ONE DAY after the 3 year warranty. I own close to 2 dozen Worx tools and love most of them but my two leaf blowers have not lived up to my expectations for Worx tools.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This weed eater is great! Its my new favorite lawn tool. And the battery lasts a long time. The mini mower feature is great and super helpful. I wouldn't use that feature for mowing the front lawn, but to mow areas that are less important, it works great. It also edges with ease. Its light weight and the weight is balanced which I love. Some weed eaters are top heavy. This one is not. Highly recommend.

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last fall, but did not have a chance to use it until this fall. I too was very disappointed that the battery life is not longer than 10 - 12 minutes. I have three 20 volt batteries and it still does not get very much of my yard done. I will be contacting your company regarding purchasing at least one of the longer lasting batteries. And depending on the price maybe more than one.

The blowers are the most energy-consuming, and you can expect about 10 minutes from them at high speeds. The only way to counteract the run-time is to purchase high-capacity batteries that will double and triple the run-time on your tools. You can check those out here:

Super Easy To Use

Just got my trimmer Friday and it was so easy to use that my boyfriend and I were rushing to beat one another home over the weekend to be able to use it. We did our entire large yard that needed TONS of trimming and edging in one battery charge and only used one spool of line!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a lot of areas to weed eat and this product made it so easy for me, I do not have a lot of upper body strength. I ordered this last Tuesday and it arrived on Friday! Fantastic Fast Service!
The Weed trimmer “Worx” GREAT!
It took about 2 hours to charge the batteries.
I also bought the turbine blower, I haven’t used it yet but it I’m sure it will
be fine too.
I would definitely recommend this product to friends and relatives!
