Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The string trimmer works great. Originally, I was going to try to adapt my weed eater to use wheels. I have a triangle area of grass that is too small for my riding lawnmower and I’m not going to invest in a small lawn more just for that. I finally found a weed eater with wheels on it, so it becomes a small lawnmower, I also love the way it converts to an edger. I am waiting for another wheel set to come in stock so I can purchase that also. If I have been offered an extra set of wheels and someone had explain to me that if you have two wheels, you can flip it around to the edger from the lawnmower position and not have to takeoff one wheel and put it in a different position, I would have added it to my order.
The battery is ok, but two would be better. Maybe one day the price will come down and I will be able to afford it. When I last checked the price it was almost as much as the string trimmer with everything.
All in all it’s perfect for what I need.

I already have the ones I bought earlier and my grandson loves them so much that he keeps borrowing mine! So guess who is getting his own for this Christmas! They are great and the one I ordered him is even better than the ones I have so I know he will be a happy customer!

Poor Battery-Light Duty

I bought this over a month ago and have only used twice. It is plastic and therefore the set positions do not hold well. Also battery is not good, only last 30 min. It needs a longer lasting battery, this is a light duty tool. It is also difficult to remove wheels to change functions: weed eater, edger, mini-mower. I do like the mini-mower function but do want a better battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had one for about 10 years. I loved it so much I bought another. This one is upgraded, heavier, and the added features such as the wheels that go on more than one place to allow more ways to use it and the thumb driven cord feed are features that don't make it easier to use. I would prefer the old one - but I do like the fact that it telescopes longer and carries an extra spool on it.

Works well with manicured lawn

This weed eater works well for touch ups. For a lawn with thicker grass in a rural area, it works okay to maintain if done frequently, however it is not professional grade. I like the fact that it is easy to start and you can replace the string easily without having to stop constantly and free string for life is nice and the wheels are nice also. The spool only has one string, not two like other weed eaters which is a contributing factor as to why it is not very powerful. Overall this is a fairly good product for small yards that are maintained frequently.

It would be better if the battery lasted longer then 10 mins even on low speed. We have charged it 2 times now and each time it last 10 mins.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WORX batteries run different amounts of time depending on the tool, but for the most part, the 2.0 Ah batteries average about 20 minutes of run-time. The blowers are the most energy-consuming, and you can expect about 10 minutes from them at high speeds. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool is a real game changer and time saver for me. My front and back lawns have a very curvy concrete border and my lawn mower can't reach some of the sharp corners. With this tool I can edge the perimeter and then use the mini-mower to cut in the corners the lawn mower missed. Only takes a couple of min. to change from edger to mini-mower. Thanks Worx!
