Works fine and as expected. Took care of my half-acre yard with trees, fences, sidewalks and driveway. Battery power stayed strong.

It lasts forever and is much better than lugging a cord around like I was doing before this purchase. Will continue to buy Worx products moving forward.

Not As Good as MY Old Worx String Trimmer

I bought this to replace my old WORX String Trimmer. Who ever designed the push button to advance the string should re-think this, because my has not worked since the day I starting using it. This button does absolutely nothing!!! So to advance the string if it does not itself I have to take the cap off and pull the string out to advance it and then put the cap back on. Also, the shaft to turn to trim and then edge is so stiff that you can hardly turn it. Did anyone lubricate this before they assembled it???? This is definitely not a revolution but a sub-standard product and not as good as the Old WORX trimmer I had.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To feed more line, it is first necessary to allow the trimmer to stop completely; it must come to a complete rest, then restart, allowing the motor to reach full speed. Repeat above until you hear the line hitting against the Line Cutter.

Another Well Made Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I got my weed trimmer. I can't use a gas powered one, it is too heavy for me and I get tired fast. So I have two other worx tools and I knew I had to get this. I took it out and started charging it. I could not believe how good it worked, it is light weight and very easy to use. I love the self threading and just push a button and more string comes out no more fixing the string. The spools are small but I got a lot of trimming done with one spool and the best thing is that there is a holder for a spare right on the handle. It also edges really well. It cuts through thicker things then I thought it would. It did'nt get stuck at all and very powerful. I am very happy now that I can do my yard work by myself.

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The string trimmer works great. Originally, I was going to try to adapt my weed eater to use wheels. I have a triangle area of grass that is too small for my riding lawnmower and I’m not going to invest in a small lawn more just for that. I finally found a weed eater with wheels on it, so it becomes a small lawnmower, I also love the way it converts to an edger. I am waiting for another wheel set to come in stock so I can purchase that also. If I have been offered an extra set of wheels and someone had explain to me that if you have two wheels, you can flip it around to the edger from the lawnmower position and not have to takeoff one wheel and put it in a different position, I would have added it to my order.
The battery is ok, but two would be better. Maybe one day the price will come down and I will be able to afford it. When I last checked the price it was almost as much as the string trimmer with everything.
All in all it’s perfect for what I need.
