Disappointed

I sp end more time putting the safety plate and wheels back on then actually using. I liked the fact it is light weight but even after I had my husband help to tighten the safety cover/wheels withing 10 minutes they pop off again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gets the job done

Bought this to replace my old corded leaf blower and it does what I need it to do and is easy and not heavy. I use this as well as my grandkids when they are helping out. Love all my Worx products!

So easy to use, powerful and long usage battery. I have a large yard in front, pool in the back. Only need this one tool to weedeating, edging (very impressed!). I don't use the "mini mower" function.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Edging is an issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] String not long enough to properly edge. Also does not auto feed you have to constantly press it to get proper length to edge causing spools to be exhausted rapidly. Not at all happy with this

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. You can try resetting the auto-feed system by pressing the small square reset button on the bottom of the trimmer. It is located below the eyelet where your line feeds out on the trimmer head. If you press that 3 times, the auto-feed system will reset and the line will come out properly. Be sure not to pull the line out by hand. This will tighten the line around the spool defeating the purpose of the auto-feed feature. There is no need to bump the trimmer on the ground. To efficiently feed the line, press the CommandFeed button as needed while the machine is running until you hear the ‘clattering’ noise of the line cutting. The line will automatically feed to the perfect length for trimming. The motor will shut off when pressing the CommandFeed button and will restart when the button is released.Should you have any additional questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact our Solution Center Team at 866-354-9679 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST. Underwhelmed

Better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to use for edging sidewalks as well as the plastic landscape edging. It works great for that because of the ability to be positioned vertically as well as having the wheels to help gauge the depth. I use a gas trimmer for most of my heavier work but my wife prefers the battery trimmer because of less vibration and lighter weight. I tried this as both the trimmer and as the mower with the wheels mounted below and was very impressed with the performance compared to other battery trimmers I’ve used. Very well designed and seems to be well built as well!

Best Trimmer I’ve ever bought…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I bought the trimmer I’ve used it twice and didn’t have to charge the battery. The 4.0 battery has great battery life.
The spoils are very easy to change.
I’m so happy I don’t have to deal with the gas power trimmers anymore!!

12" 4.0Ah String Trimmer

Nice not having to deal with gas trimmer but the "string" is like a string. It's too weak/flimsy to handle heavy or thick grass. Takes more than one pass. vs one pass with heavier strings.

If you decide to use the traditional line, the WORX String Trimmer / Edger can accept standard 0.065” cutting line found at any garden or home center and can be wound around our empty spool cartridges. Refer to your owner’s manual for important details about how to wind the line on the spools and keep in mind that with the conventional cutting line, CommandFeed may not work as expected.
