Worth it!

Used it for the first time and still can't get over how muuch easier to use the cordless trimmer is over dragging a heave cord around. I had concerns about its weight and that it wouldn't have enough power, but a needless worry. Went through branches with no problem! Appreciate the ssfety feature that both hands are required to use it, I was an accident waiting to happen with my old trimmer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good, Not Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the safety figures, you have to operate it with two (2) hands. 2 separate triggers. Light weight. Took care of my front hedges in 10 minutes. We will see what it can do on my big shrub, that's about ten feet tall.
The share battery works with my trimmer WG156.
The WG261 is too new to register on-line. That's the way I prefer to register my products. The on-line write up, 'it comes with' is wrong. It states it comes with two (2) batteries, it only comes with one. I was expecting 2 batteries. I even answered someones question on the product about the 2 batteries. The manual attached to the website is also the wrong manual. The write up definitely needs to be corrected. The two batteries is one of the reasons why I purchased it.
I am a Worx customer. I have been using Worx since 2006. I believe this is my 5th product.

CORDLESS IS GREAT, THE TRIMMER CUT MY HEDGES LIKE A HOT KNIFE THRU BUTTER. THE DAY I RECEIVED IT, JUST BEFORE DARK I THOUGHT I WOULD TEST IT OUT JUST ON THE END OF THE HEDGES IT WORKED SO WELL I FINISHED THE COMPLETE HEDGE ROW IN 20 MINUTES, NICE STRAIGHT LINES NEVER LOOKED BETTER. I ORDERED AND WAITING FOR MY STRING TRIMMER AND BLOWER COMBO 20V 4.0

Just used first time. Great tool with one exception. Having to press and contiouously hold down the "rear" switch made tool uncomfortable to use. Entire hand in pain when done and I only had five small bushes to trim. Would be nice if could release this switch once "front" switch is pressed. Will be researching other Worx hedge trimmers to see if easier to use. Otherwise perfect fit! Love all my Worx tools!

Light and Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second hedge trimmer. This one has larger surface cutting blade.However, I was disappointed that the newer one did not have a hard blade sheath to cover the trimming blades.The new cover was cheap and served no real purpose.

This is amazing!

I have hedges that are 12 feet high on the side of my house. This tool just slices effortlessly through them. I bought the tool only because I already have three 20 volt batteries from other Worx tools. I am a 68 year old female and I had no trouble raising it above my head and reaching the top of the hedges. So easy and I am so excited to add this to my collection of Worx tools.
