great edger except

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 5th trimmer and only downfall is that my trimmer wheel always fall off after two years and I use duck tape to keep it on. Please come up with a stronger material?

I love it, BUT

This is overall a great trimmer. I like it's ease of use and functionality. When my old original one died after 6 years I immediately purchased the updated version shown here. Less than a year later I had to have it replaced under warranty because of the worst part of this trimmers design. The locking mechanism and how it ratchets to change from trimming to edging. That part just broke apart inside. I have been using the replacement for about a year and it too is showing signs of breaking. It is so stiff and hard to move from trimmer to edger and when it does the ratcheting mechanism just pops and makes such loud noises I know at any moment it too will break apart inside. Come on Worx. Change that design so it's smooth and doesn't have that ratcheting mechanism inside.

This is to replace my past Worx trimmer. Exactly the same trimmer. It gets used soooo much that things were starting to go on it and I didn't want anything but another Worx. Love the on the go adaptability change from vertical trimmer to horizontal trimmer. Not to mention the amazing price (on sale) and lifetime trimmer string. Woo Hoo. Would love to be able to review the whole Worx line.

I have been buying/using WORX tools for over a decade. The quality is great. The battery power lasts long enough to get an entire Large yard done. I have two blowers, an edger/trimmer. a hand saw and a few other yard tools. I just bought another 20V Power Share String Trimmer mainly because it has a button that will allow you to feed the string automatically. My old one didn't have that. I've used it 3 times already and it works great! Of course, since I've been using WORX tools for years, I knew it would.
