After damaging my lawn mower by using a thatching blade,
I decided to try the Worx Lawn Thatcher. WG850

It performs great.
Because I also thatch half way through the summer, the 3 level height setting is very helpful.
But the grass catching bag is too small to be helpful. I don't use it.

It did it’s job and did it well. I had no idea there was that much thatch in my lawn. My lawn is more vibrant and healthier than it’s ever been and this product helped it get that way.

Does a great job removing thatch.

I hated the job of taking out thatch by hand. This pulls it up quickly- you just have to be conscious where the extension cord is. Only complaint is that it does not collect well- do I had to rake up the thatch. Still worth having/ but they need to improve the collection bag process.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better then raking

I wasn’t looking forward to raking my yard again, so I decided to give this a try. It was so simple to put together. Not disappointed at all - did a great job. Way better then raking and no sore muscles. Just walk behind it. You won’t be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it the week I received it. Took me 3 days to dethatch my yard. It did a great job. I also used my cordless Worx lawnmower to vacuum the excess thatch that the de thatcher didn’t pickup in the bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in September and used 100 ft cord 16 gauge. The dethacher runs a few minutes then stops. I used a 50 ft cord 14 gauge with no problem. I addred a 25 ft 14 gauge for more distance, and dethacher is still working with no problem.
