Good performance for price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to dethatch a fairly large yard. Does a good job and fairly easy to push and navigate. Got large quantities of thatch. Had to pick up with a large riding mower. Got 3 large bags full. Thatch catcher is too small. Fills up quickly. Pretty useless. I took it off. Only problem I had was dethatcher shuts down after extended use. I believe that it’s over heating. Found two small vent filters that get plugged with dust and dirt. I recommend that front vents be cleaned every few minutes.
Overall I recommend this unit. Does a very good job for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dethatcher was very easy to use and did a great job of clearing out the dead grass in the spring. Operation was easy and it's easy to maneuver throughout the yard.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Like a Big dog!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased this dethatcher , quick delivery and the dethatcher is like having a digging up your yard if you turn it on and don't start walking, It will eat up your yard. Only complaint I have is the ends of the handles slip into the base unit without providing any way to attach the handles to the unit. Therefore, until I get a drill/bit to drill some holes into the handles at the base and put in cotter pins, the handles continue to slip put without them being attached.. Sloppy quality control is to blame for this oversight.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Light and works as advertised.

I bought a few weeks ago and it was easy to assemble and get dethatching.
I did one vertical and one horizontal pass on setting 2 and 2 more passes on setting 3 using a 100ft cord.
The pictures attached show more dead grass using the lower level 3.
I did have the issue with it shutting off after a period of time. I would just go and rake and then try again. The belt did squeal at times too. I found with cord management to start closest to the outlet and work away. My height is 6 foot and the handle was a comfortable level.
