Simple yet effective and doesnt hurt the wallet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a relatively large yard and knew going in that this would not complete the job in a couple of outings. I got it setup and went about handling a section of the yard. Surprisingly it is easy to push since it is so light weight, I had my 10 yr old help me out while I picked up. On the topic of collection, I think the bag can be avoided, it kept coming off the hook and because of its size you would have to empty it after every couple of minutes. Like it so far and doing a good job.

Great machine

I really appreciate how light weight it is, but still performs like a much heavier and more expensive commercial dethatcher. I really appreciate not having to mess with gas and oil or pull to start.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dethatcher works well for pulling dead grass to the top, but grass just bunches up in front of the catcher bag making it worthless. Something needs to hold the bag down to allow the grass to go into the bag.

Easy to use

Bought this because I tried hand thatching, and it was hard on my hands. This electric thatcher did the job on my very large yard. The only complaint was the same as others, the bag either falls off, or doesn’t catch the thatch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Another good Worx product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was hoping to find a battery-powered dethatcher in the Worx lineup as most of my lawn equipment is (56V line). This is my 2nd dethatcher this year as the first one failed after only a few uses. It worked very well the first time on a 3,000 sq ft section of my yard.

Overheats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would use it for about 3-5 passes and it would overheat and stop. I would have to let it set and cool down and eventually it would start working again. When it did work, it did an okay job. Just like everyone said, the grass catcher is useless. It didn’t do anything. Not impressed. Would say it’s “just okay” or maybe less than okay since I had to wait on it for long periods of time to cool down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It really Worx

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it last week, the motor stopped but once I realized my yard was still to thick I mowed it again and detached it again it worxed like advertised. I had to go back and mowed to pick up all the dead grass but I am ok with that. My neighbor is getting one. Excellent product.
