[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, this thing is an animal! I can't say how much I enjoyed using this unit over the past 4 days. I have a pretty good sized yard, and it was a MESS after this past brutal North Dakota winter. It took some getting used to especially regarding the depth of the tines, but once I got around that issue, all it did was WORK. It did an excellent job & I'm very happy that I purchased the unit. Highly Recommended. ***Picture is of my front yard after using this Dethatcher. Now all we need is some rain to green things up***

I received this two weeks ago, I tried it once and was not impressed. It seemed as if it took more labor than simply using a rake and the results were not as good
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works as advertised

I love this dethatcher, I have used it on my entire yard now. It has not over heated (I have been using it in 65 degree weather, and cleaning the breather vents while using). I give it 5 stars even with two comments
1) It sometimes squeaks during use and I don't know why (it's a squeal coming from the spinning tines i believe)
2) The bag is useless
Other than those points, I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone
