Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after neighbor showed me his sunjoe model. In prep for aeration though good idea with aeration and overseeing and setting how the neighbors sunjoe performed. Man after the neighbor saw the worx perform he said he should have bought a worx. Amazing the thatch it pulled up and now with new seed down fall grass going string!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does a good Job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine takes up the thatch nicely. The bag is way to small so it is useless. Once you thatch the lawn, I advise you do it in sections, You have to rake up the thatch into a pile and dispose of it. It's still better than racking the thatch out of a lawn. The machine is a time saver for sure.

My garage is all Worx

I needed some serious dethatching and the rake was taking forever so I am gave this a try. I unpacked the dethatcher and first thing I saw was scrapes and scratches on the black handles, housing, and the wheels looked already used. I turned it over, the metal tines and housing underside looked new. Not happy about the scrapes and scratches but didn't want the hassle of sending it back. So I gave it a try, as long as it worked I could look past the condition it was recieved. It has 3 levels, depending on the depth you want the dethatching done. #1 being the highest and #3 going the deepest. If you want your yard skinned to the dirt, use #3. The grass catcher bag is very small, so with every row I had to empty it. No big deal, only with the full bag the dethatcher would not stand up on it's own, it kept falling down to the ground so I had to prop my knee under the handle to get the grass catcher bag off. That was an inconvenience but I got used to it. Dragging the 100 foot electrical cord around the yard was a pain, so when you come out with a battery operated I will buy that one. Some bumpy areas were hard to go over, took some umph to get over those especially if the small bag was near full. Performance wise, definitely did the job, just be careful of the settings so you don't pull up good grass. Happy with it overall, a few improved changes would make this an ideal yard tool.

Bagger is a good feature

It's late in the season so haven't fully put it to the test, but did try it to make sure it works. The bagger is a good feature vs. dethatching & needing to rake the lawn afterwords. The unit & bagger are only 14" but it's a good value even if I only use as a power rake in the spring.
I would recommend this to a friend!
