Worx doesn’t quite Work

I bought the worx dethatcher at the end of July 2021 I used twice three things disappointed me.
1 The bag is useless I went for it for the bag.
2 Wheel height adjustment changes itself without finishing a run from number one to number two you find yourself digging in no time.
3 The most frustrating of all is Is overheating and therefore shutting down At first I thought I was making a mistake by connecting two extension cords but after I bought 12 gauge cord one hundred feet still the same results that’s when the frustration kicked in.I have a normal size suburban lot and I couldn’t finish it without it shutting down twice and having to wait for it to cool down. When the wheel height doesn’t change and the machine is rolling it does a really good job.

I purchased my dethatcher a month ago and i am completely satisfied with its performance. It is lightweight in weight only as I was able to do 75X50 front lawn with out wearing myself out and the machine was more than powerful enough to dethatch a severely heat damaged lawn. Assembly was very easy, only took a few minutes. Good product Worx!

works detacher is trash

got this last spring worked about 10n ft and would stop running. started agoain for another 10 ft and stops again. managed to do lawn 15 ft by 20ft tried today worked about 5 min and was dead it is now took apart and in the trash where it should be

A good idea, poor execution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the idea of this product, but from the first use it over heats and you have to wait an hour to continue to do the work. The bag holds little and falls off all the time. Should of returned it. I own a worx lawnmover and snowblower and love them. Wish I could get it fixed or exchanged

great companion to mulching mowers

if you only mulch when you mow the lawn, thatch will build up no matter what. I was wondering why my grass doesnt look green as it should be even with lawn services. tired of raking, I bought this and what a back saver, it even does a better job than just raking. Grass is showing signs of greening up in about a week after using this

Good Power and Results

I put this through first use about 2 weeks ago.
Did not seem to have large success using the bagger (very few thatch/debris/clippings), so ran without it.

Noticed that when pulling backwards and turning, the height adjustment may change (could be an issue for overheating/scalping yard).
Lawn green'd up within just shy of two weeks after use. I may even go over cross-wise before aeration/overseeding.
I would recommend this to a friend!
