Instruction book is a joke.

Wheels for the edger are ridiculous. The just slide and sit. Not fastened. Keep falling off. Power is average. Two strings would be better. I am 5’5” tall and felt like I had to keep bending over to trim and edge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very poor design

I bought this about three years ago. The spool head is very poorly designed. THe head angle lock keeps slipping open and the angle changes while using very dangerous.THe spool head and feeder. Is very bad. The spring kept slipping out and eventually broke had to use a ball point pen spring, because I couldn't get parts for at least a year before giving up trying. Now the feeding mechanism is worn and the spool keeps winding the string back onto it while running. The big thing is that you and many other repair centers can't get parts to fix this thing.Sadly as much as I hate this it did do what I needed . perhaps I can find something similar. But because I had other worx items they all used the same battery. But what good is the battery if the device doesnt work.

Where is the Serial and Model Numbers for the WG17

We bought a WG170 WORX 3 in 1 tool, but cannot find the model & serial numbers? Why did you not put this important information in the Users Manual? How can I fill out the warranty card? I need this information ASAP. Thanks.

Greetings from WORX! We appreciate your feedback! The model and serial number for all WORX products will be directly on the tools on a sticker. The model numbers will begin with either WG or WX and the serial numbers will be in a white box and it will begin with " 20"

Light weight, longer than expected battery life ( haven't had to charge the battery yet after doing my half acre yard twice ) cuts grass and weeds very well
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this for my son who is a wounded Army veteran. He needed something light-weight and easy to use. He said it was a wonderful tool and is happy when he is clearing paths on his property.
