[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I GOT THIS 2 WEEKS AGO AND I LOVE IT. I DID MY LARGE FRONT YARD WITH NO PROBLEM. IT DOES A GOOD JOB ON HEAVY WEEDS ALSO.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this trimmer close to a month now. And I have been impressed with it. It is very light weight even my 12 yo daughter loves to use it. The adjustable handle and trimmer head is perfect for our an uneven landscape which makes it easier to trim. But the feature that I liked most is the battery life. I can use the trimmer on our medium sized backyard without having to worry of the battery dying on me. The best trimmer I’ve ever bought.
I bought mine last year and just bought another for my 83 year old cousin who wants to do her yard work but struggles with starting yard tools and the muscle strength need to work them
I broke the guide wheel mount on the string shield the secontime I used it. i wish the battery was twice as long so it might run twice as long wish it had a 40 volt system it have more power and last longer that way to the tilt lock in my base won't stay locked wish it had a metal to metal nonslip base tilt lock would have preferred if the wand was fixed at it full length you lock there slips also. All and all I give yo a lame C grade. You need to think on the terms of industrial durability and make extremely hard to break..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review. We recommend purchasing an additional battery to assist with tackling larger tasks. We have a high capacity 20V 4.0Ah lithium battery that will increase your runtime with twice the amp hours of our standard battery. We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact our Solution Center Team at 866-354-9679 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST. We'd be more than happy to assist you.
Have to keep stopping to feed the line through the little hole. On demand line feed is useless. Does work.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. We appreciate all reviews as it helps us improve! When initially switching on the trimmer, a small length of line is fed out. Each time the tool is started from rest it will advance about 0.25 inches of trimmer line. A ‘clattering’ noise will be heard when the lines hit the Line Cutter. Please don't be alarmed, this is quite normal. After about 5 seconds the line will be cut to the correct length and the noise will reduce as the motor gains full speed. If the noise of the line being cut can’t be heard, more line will need to be fed out. To feed more line, it is first necessary to allow the trimmer to stop completely; it must come to a complete rest, then restart, allowing the motor to reach full speed. Repeat above until you hear the line hitting against the Line Cutter.
If required, line can be fed out manually. To operate, press and release manual Line Feed Button (refer to the trimmer diagram in the owner’s manual), while gently pulling out the line until it is long enough to reach the Line Cutter. If the line extends past the Line Cutter, too much line has been fed out. If too much line is fed out, remove the Spool Cap and turn Spool counterclockwise until the line is at the desired length.
Also, ensure you are using a fresh pack of spools. The spool line is biodegradable. This means that the line will decay over time. Elements such as heat, sunlight exposer, and moisture specifically will cause this process to happen more quickly. To have your spools last and perform as they should longer, please store the spools in a cool and dry location. Room temperature is good.
