This is my second one in two months. First one: gear head stayed locked all the time and could not adjust. Second one: gear head will not lock at all. Head just flops to where ever it wants to go. Frustrating as hell.

Hello Valued Customer! It's unfortunate to learn that your second trimmer head is flopping while you're using your trimmer. We greatly appreciate your honest feedback, as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. I have emailed you offline in regards to troubleshooting and warranty eligibility. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact our Solution Center Team at 866-354-9679 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST. We'd be more than happy to assist you. Thank you for choosing WORX!
I brought 1 of this trimmer in 2019. By the summer of 2020 the trimmer started ejecting the string without pressing the ejection button every time I try to use it. I purchased another 2021 earlier this year and it is currently doing the same thing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS ITEM!! I understand it is easy to use at a reasonable price but they always say you pay for what you get so now I am going to purchase and brand. WORX is not what I expected..

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Please keep in mind that WORX tools are covered under a warranty. When initially switching on the trimmer, a small length of the line is fed out. Each time the tool is started from rest it will advance about 0.25 inches of trimmer line. A ‘clattering’ noise will be heard when the lines hit the Line Cutter. Please don't be alarmed, this is quite normal. After about 5 seconds the line will be cut to the correct length and the noise will reduce as the motor gains full speed. If the noise of the line being cut can’t be heard, more line will need to be fed out. To feed more line, it is first necessary to allow the trimmer to stop completely; it must come to a complete rest, then restart, allowing the motor to reach full speed. Repeat above until you hear the line hitting against the Line Cutter.
If required, line can be fed out manually. To operate, press and release the manual Line Feed Button (refer to the trimmer diagram in the owner’s manual), while gently pulling out the line until it is long enough to reach the Line Cutter. If the line extends past the Line Cutter, too much line has been fed out. If too much line is fed out, remove the Spool Cap and turn Spool counter-clockwise until the line is at the desired length. Also, please make sure the guard is on the trimmer, as it has a blade that cuts the line to length. Please never hesitate to contact us directly. We are always happy to help! We can be reached at 1-866-354-9679 Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm EST.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been a lot easier weed eating with my new Worx Trimmer. Lighter weight than my old weed eater and so easy to get extra line. I actually enjoy using it. My only problem I am having is with the wheels. They won’t stay attached. They are sending me a new set when the back orders arrive. I’m so glad I bought this.
I bought this to replace my corded trimmer. It was easy to put together and much easier to use. Don't miss the cord at all. Should hae bought this a long time ago. But I have it now and I love it.
After I took the wheels off, it mowed wonderfully. No electric cord to fight with. The battery did not last long enough to do the entire yard. It is wonderful for those tight spaces and under furniture. Saved a lot of hastle fighting with the electric cord for those hard to get to spaces. Love all the adjustments that other weed wackers do not have.
I bought this about a month ago, first time I used it as a edger after about 15 minutes the screws on the guard was stripped and wouldn't stay tightened. I loved the idea of being able to use it in 3 different positions but you can't expect a screw to stay tight in a plastic fitting! Otherwise it would of been a great product, but for the money not worth it. I also had to buy the second battery which most other brands give you one for this price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Worx string trimmer that we have owned, the first an older model. Can’t say how much better new and improved model is, faster battery charging times, cut in half compared to older model, battery level indicator a big plus, line release feature a nice. Overall my wife who is the user loves it tremendously and highly recommends
