Too weak

Not powerful enough. Holding the button down to long hurts my thumb, should have been creative with that part.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My husband says this item is really great! The charge lasts long enough to do the work he needs to do and the trimmer really cuts the weeds and grass. There are guards to protect MY FLOWER GARDEN and keeps him out of hot water!!! LOL!
BUT this item is exactly as advertised and I would recommend it (already have) to friends and relatives! We are Senior Citizens and the lighter weight is a big plus.
After our wonderful experience with Aerocart and other products from Worx---we trust them to have quality products!

Great purchase

My 82 year old mom saw an infomercial for the string trimmer and really wanted one. I ordered it online, it came quickly, and my mom was able to assemble it easily. She has been using it a lot and loves it. She was able to clean up her fence line and trim around her flower beds. It’s light enough for her use it for long stretches of work, but sturdy enough for any task in her yard. I have an older corded Worx string trimmer that I have been using for 6 or 7 years but I am thinking of upgrading to this battery operated model.

I have bought Worx devices before and they are of good quality and workmanship. This unit is a good combination of trimmer and edger. Battery life could be a little longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had mine for 5 yrs and I love it! I’m 70 and female and it makes my life so much easier to trim,edge and mow my yard. It does great under lawn furniture and hard to get to places. Lightweight and the battery lasts a lot longer than the yard work.

A Truly Wonderful Tool

I am the proud owner of my second WORX String Trimmer. I was so impressed with my original one that lasted numerous years, after getting quite a workout in my yard, that I immediately placed an order to WORX for a replacement when it reached the end of its life. Lightweight to use, easy replacement of string spools, and excellent cutting control makes this a winning tool. I quite frankly couldn't maintain my yard without it.
