[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I needed to replace my gas trimmer, this particular model was recommended to me. I was hesitant, because I'm not used to an electric string trimmer, but after some research, I got the idea that you don't necessarily have to get gas-powered everything when it comes to outdoor work. I've had this for several months and it does a solid job. It's also much lighter, so my kids can use it, also. The battery sharing is also a big plus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Save your money

I bought the cordless trimmer/edger. The best advice I can give is don’t waste your money as I did!
Supposed to easily refeed more line, not true. You need to push a button, which shuts off the engine, and start up again. On top of that issue, the line is so thin you have to constantly refeed.
Also not convenient to hold while using and I finally just stopped edging my yard. I have extra stops to make this week... one to hardware store to buy a better trimmer (recommend black & decker) and the local thrift store to donate this junk.

Easy, accurate and light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two gass edgers another battery powered edger and now this one. It is now a pleasure to manicure my lawn. I do my sidewalk and driveway in record time with great precision. The fist and may be the second time you use it you may thinking the battery does not last long, but as you get comfortable with it, it will not disappoint. I am on a large corner lot with a large driveway and it does it all.

I received the product but find it is too short. We have an older one that is longer. Tyour tech says it is a foot longer but it seems to be a foot shorter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there! Thank you for posting your review. The WG170 GT Revolution grass trimmer is our longest standard 20V trimmer to date. To extend the shaft on your tool, you must simply turn the orange lock collar in the center of the shaft clockwise to loosen the collar, then adjust your shaft to the maximum length, then tighten it by turning it counter-clockwise. good and lite weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was watching the tv add and tried to buy the trimmer because it was cheeper and it came with life time of trimmer line and a extra battery.i called the number and it would not connect,so i went online hoping to find the same deal. but i found the trimmer but it cost more and 1 battery,i was dissapointed, but over all the trimmer works well, it just runs out of steam before im finished trimming,the 2nd battery would ave been perfect.
i do love the product and i hope it lasts

i AM HAVING A LOT OF TROUBLE WITH THE SPOOLS, BREAKING OFTEN. wHEN I CHECK , THE SPOOL STILL HAS A LOT OF LINE, BUT IT SEEMS TO BE STUCK, LIKE GLUE, hAS HEAT MELTED THE SPOOL LINES, SO IT WON'T FEED PROPERLY? tHIS HAS OCCURED ON MANY SPOOLS, EVEN THE VERY NEW ONES.
