Liked the Worx so much we purchased a second WG170 Trimmer and Edger! Extremely light weight and easy to use. We have one set-up for trimming and the other set-up for edging. Batteries last 20 to 30 minutes which is great for a small yard. Lifetime string spools is a plus! Easily adjustable. The only item that could be improved is the string cutter blade... Not very durable. Had to order a replacement guard to replace the cutting blade as it had broken off at some point during use. Would highly recommend!

This is not my first Worxx but my third in a 30 plus period. It really gets the trimmings done perfectly. Plus it is easy to use with a number of positions and a long lasting battery. Cannot trim with anything else.

Too much manual effort. Avoid this item

Manually feed string only, not automatic or bump feed. You must stop every minute or so to manually feed more string. Takes longer to charge battery than to drain it. When battery is drained, it must charge for several hours. String melts to itself and breaks off on roll. You must take the spool out to rethread string on spool. String supplied with spool breaks too often and requires frequent manual feeding. :(( Spend your money in something else that Works better. Avoid this item.

Greetings from Worx! We appreciate your honest feedbcak and review! Since WORX is a green company, our grass trimming line is biodegradable and it will melt when exposed to heat and the elements. We recommend trying fresh spools and storing them away from heat and moisture to avoid sticking and melting. The GT Revolution has an orange rectangular, command feed button on the front of the handle. Anytime that button is pushed, the line will feed out a short amount. Cutting lines are garbage

I've always loved the trimmer itself, but the cutting lines are useless anymore. The quality is now so poor they break after only seconds of use. They were never durable, but now they simply snap off after every few seconds of use. I tried to attach pictures of the four brakes from my last thirty feet of edging I just did, but my review was deleted. Not worth the price of shipping even if the spools are free. Too bad. I loved this trimmer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ergonomic! Easy on the body.

We bought this because we have bad backs. Our old trimmer killed our backs. Holding the trimmer at weird angles, bending over, using our arms to hold it in the right position, leaning at at angles to see where we were trimming. It was all torture. But this...this has and is simply amazing. It’s light. It has wheels that enables me to push it along to edge. I just push a button to feed more line. It adjusts to the correct angle so I don’t have to bend to see what I’m doing. It starts with a push of a button. The line feeds well and doesn’t constantly bind up or break. Changing the line is so fricken easy it should be illegal. I hated trying to add new line to my old trimmer. Actually that should’ve been illegal. I can get right up against the fence without it sounding like I’m trying to actually tear down the fence with the trimmer.
I have beautiful, clean edges in the yard
now. I don’t dread the act of trimming. My back can tolerate it - which is amazing.

Kudos to the designers of this. You’ve created a product that will make all the others obsolete.

LOVE MY NEW TRIMMER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 82 years old so I wanted a good quality but lightweight trimmer. This trimmer was amazing. It cuts clean edges fast and easy. Leaves a very nice edge on the lawn. for grass and weed trimming it is easy to use and works fast. It is easy to load the trimmer line and easy to refill when needed. This is my 1st. year with this trimmer, but I will never go back to a gas trimmer. Batteries are easy to charge. Love it. Thanks,

String does not feed easily. Wheels not at good height for edging. We bought hoping to use with wheels on a slope. Does not work for that. Batteries do not hold a very long charge.
