The new features are awesome. Lightweight, easy to use! I love helping my husband with yardwork, but most tools are too heavy for me to manage. This Weedwhacker/edger is amazing I love it. Thank you for the upgrades of extension handle, auto thread feed and new wheel positions! My second WORX weedwacker/edger and there is nothing wrong with the one I bought 7+ years ago… just wanted the upgrades!!

This is the worst trimmer I have ever owned. The line feed button does not work. It just constantly fees the line. This one is going to the garbage can.

12" String Trimmer put to the test

My Worx string trimmer is at least 10 years old, more like 12+ and I really put it to the test recently. The back field behind our house was cut down by a tractor but only within 8 feet of our wall. I decided to clear the rest myself and did it all with my handy trimmer and two and a half 2Ah batteries!

Too much manual effort. Avoid this item

Manually feed string only, not automatic or bump feed. You must stop every minute or so to manually feed more string. Takes longer to charge battery than to drain it. When battery is drained, it must charge for several hours. String melts to itself and breaks off on roll. You must take the spool out to rethread string on spool. String supplied with spool breaks too often and requires frequent manual feeding. :(( Spend your money in something else that Works better. Avoid this item.

Greetings from Worx! We appreciate your honest feedbcak and review! Since WORX is a green company, our grass trimming line is biodegradable and it will melt when exposed to heat and the elements. We recommend trying fresh spools and storing them away from heat and moisture to avoid sticking and melting. The GT Revolution has an orange rectangular, command feed button on the front of the handle. Anytime that button is pushed, the line will feed out a short amount.
