[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to use, battery stays charged for all of trimming and edging both front and back yards, battery has a charge light so you know if you have enough charge to even start, head easily rotates to fit every angle I need for trimming and turns right into place for edging, the length for the height adjustment is super awesome..now my 9 year old grand daughter can easily use the trimmer and with a quick pull I can hop in and fine tune the edges....oh, the auto feed is amazing...no more having to stop and pull string out. Oh...AND!!! FREE Trimmer string for life!!!! Pay shipping...BET!!!! I'm in! May get a 40v mower to start my Worx collection!!

A little disappointed this time around

This is my second Worx weed eater. The original GT had an edge trimming guide that worked out great. It broke after a few years of every weekend using it and could not find just that part or accurately reproduce it. Decided after messing up my always perfect edge a few times without a guide to buy this one. It didn't show the guard being used as an edge guide, but I bought it anyway. Had to put a bend in the new one to try and use it as a guide, but isn't as good as the first and almost have to hold the thing straight up to get it to cut deep enough off concrete edge to do any good. Also, for some stupid reason, now you have to use 2 hands to adjust carry handle as the original had a great one had operation design. The string that comes with it is very thin and doesn't last long if it hits anything but thin grass. I gave up on the lifetime free string and just reload my own. If I could find the part for the first one or rebuild it, I would donate this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's really light. I just wish it could hold bigger weed eater string because it breaks eazy and the battery it came with don't hold a charge like it used to!

We recommend storing the spools in a cool, dry place. The spool line is made of a biodegradable material so that it easily breaks down without impacting the environment. This makes the spools of line very delicate and in extreme weather situations, the line will begin to melt and fuse together. To combat this, the spools of line can be unwound and rewound to ensure that the line will properly feed when placed in the grass trimmer. Worx batteries are covered by a 3 year manufacture warranty. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a small woman tired of waiting on the men in my life to trim my property! My elderly mother had your trimmer and loaned hers to me. I fell in love! Such independence! Now I am so excited to trim my property! The battery lasts about 10 minutes longer than I do so I trim a little a few times a week and I couldn't be happier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a couple weeks ago and like it netter yhan my old string trimmer. I like the battery test lights on the back side of the battery. When I get down to one light lit I’ll recharge it so it is ready for the next round.
