elecctric motor busted after one year

There is no repair shop to get parts the motor hums but nothing turns help!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Small but MIGHTY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my neighbor thought for sure this would be already assembled or at least only in two parts. For us old folks this was the only down fall was having to wait to use to get help to assemble. Wonderful product and even easy for a little 5' 86 year-old.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd trimmer that I bought! This for my daughter! I love mine! Battery lasts, string lasts and as an edger it is better than gas edger! I also have several other Worx tools, and are great!

Batteries

Batteries do Not last after charging you get a 15 minutes then the battery dies and the weedeater doesn't release when we try to use release button we bought the blower and weedeater

Hello Valued Customer. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback. Our 20V batteries work on a variety of tools and have average runtimes of up to 15 -30 minutes on the grass trimmer. For added runtime, we recommend purchasing an additional battery to assist with tackling larger tasks. WORX offers high capacity 20V 4.0Ah and 6.0Ah lithium batteries that will increase your runtime with twice the amp hours of our standard battery.
In order to use your automatic line feed system, you must first remove your battery, then manually feed the line about 2 inches out at the bottom. Feeding the line out this small bit is to ensure you can tell if the line has fed out or not. Once this is done, place the battery back on the tool and, while running the trimmer normally, click on the line feed button several times WITHOUT letting go of the trigger. This will cause your trimmer to turn on and off repeatedly, but once you click the button several times, you will be able to notice at the bottom that your line has fed out normally.
