Trimmer to edger

This is my second 12” trimmer/edger, I find it a little difficult to switch from trimmer to edger, takes a little bit of muscle, and I do have arthritis in my hands, I was wondering if possibly a little oil would help ?
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had owned a previous worxs weedeater and trimmer. Which I loved. This one doesn't have easy release to turn head and screw isn't long enough to hold guard on. It vibrates loose and falls off even after I've tightened several times. This one I'm disappointed.
