Love this trimmer

I got so tired of my gas trimmer not starting and getting it repaired and still not working that I decided to get a cordless trimmer. But I didn't want to get a low quality one. I researched the Word trimmer and decided to give it a go. I'm glad I did. I have a decent sized yard in the city and the battery lasts me long enough to trim my whole property twice.
It always starts and I don't have to put out my shoulder to get it started like the gas trimmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it came time to replace my Worx weed eater I replaced it with the new model that had the button that advances the string. Works great. I will consider other Worx products in the future.

This product is all that it says it is. I'm a 76 year old woman and was able to assemble it and work it. Light weight and has power.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sick of trying to start my old trimmer and always having to replace the string. I don’t have a lot of trimming to do but enough to warrant needing a trimmer. I wanted something light weight and easy to use. This trimmer fit that! It has done the work I needed easily. It’s very light weight and easy to use. I was a bit skeptical about the length, because I’m 6’10”, but with the telescopic frame it has worked great! I gave this product 5 stars because it has worked so well. If I had to knock it down about anything it’s that there is only one string. My last trimmer had two but so far I love it!

I have used this twice a week for the last month. Pros: the machine is lightweight
The wheels can be moved to different locations to assist with trimming (edging is my favorite but it took a few times to get the hang of it)
Adjustments on the handle and lower portion are nice

Easy to change the string and release new string with a push of a button
Cons: battery life is terrible, 2ah is not even close to enough even for my small yard
The machine goes through string too quickly (cheap/low quality string? Too thin?)
Charger is bulky and slow

Greetings from WORX! We appreciate your feedback as it helps us to further assist! To better assist with your battery runtime we do have a option of a 20 volt battery with a higher amp that will double your run time for your trimmer. Here will be the link via WORX.com for the higher amp battery. https://www.worx.com/20v-maxlithium-4-0-ah-battery-wa3578.html. Thank you for choosing WORX!
