Bought in late May. Had problem with string advance. Cust serv a prob due to working at home. Eventually able to return for replacement, but was not told not to return battery and charger. Replacement did not contain these. Went to Positec location and woman there was VERY helpful and actually guided me to warehouse where I got replacement bat and charger. Am writing separate letter to her boss in commendation for her fine service.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not having to fuss with long electrical cord or gasoline made this tool a joy to use Slide in the power pack and off you go. Not crazy about the wheels

very versatile, I like the many different positions it can be adjusted, but the shaft doesn't hold its position as well as I'd like, even when locked into position, I'm constantly having to unlock, adjust and lock again. And the wheels keep falling off - this is very annoying...I have to keep stopping what I'm doing and put the wheels back on.

This one seems to be more powerful that your original machine - which I purchased several years ago. The 12 inch cutting path if very useful - especially in trimming in ditches - and tight places. Makes the job easier and able to finish quicker.

I got so tired of my gas trimmer not starting and getting it repaired and still not working that I decided to get a cordless trimmer. But I didn't want to get a low quality one. I researched the Word trimmer and decided to give it a go. I'm glad I did. I have a decent sized yard in the city and the battery lasts me long enough to trim my whole property twice.
It always starts and I don't have to put out my shoulder to get it started like the gas trimmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it came time to replace my Worx weed eater I replaced it with the new model that had the button that advances the string. Works great. I will consider other Worx products in the future.
