This trimmer exceeded my expectations. The only issue I have is the battery doesn't last very long, so I would suggest buying an extra battery.

Finally! A small lawnmower

As I've aged, I found it harder and harder to trim my lawn with a standard string trimmer. My back would give out in no time at all. I bought a different brand a couple of months ago, but it just didn't have the battery power needed to do the necessary trimming. The GT Revolution 12" string trimmer allows my wife and I to do the trimming effortlessly. Just use it like a lightweight mini lawnmower, no lifting, just push. A great invention!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my most favorite yard tool that I own. I don’t know how I ever lived without it. I am elderly and have all the yardwork to do myself. This is not only a trimmer but also a edger. It is lightweight and easy to handle. It does such a great job. I highly recommend you getting one. The price is right and well worth every penny.

Issue with auto feed of string

Like Kenyata I purchased a trimmer in 2019. I too have the issue with string feed. The trimmer continuously feeds string without pressing the manual feed. There is an issue with the auto feed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Valued Customer! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review. It's unfortunate to learn that the line feed system is not working properly. You can try resetting the auto feed system by pressing the small square reset button on the bottom of the trimmer. It is located below the eyelet where your line feeds out on the trimmer head. If you press that 3 times, the auto feed system will reset and the line will come out correctly. Be sure not to pull the line out by hand. This will tighten the line around the spool defeating the purpose of the auto feed feature. There is no need to bump the trimmer on the ground.
To feed more line, it is first necessary to allow the trimmer to stop completely; it must come to a complete rest, then restart, allowing the motor to reach full speed. Repeat above until you hear the line hitting against the Line Cutter. Please check out our self-help options on our website at https://www.worx.com/contact?openByDefault=true. Love the edger trimmer

Just ordered my 2nd WORX gt. I have had one for over three years and still in excellent condition. Got another just in case!!! This tool works great and battery lasts for my whole yard of 10,000 sq ft either sidewalk and street curb. Have tried gas powered tools. Never again. Thxs WORX. GET ONE You will not be dissatisfied. I also restring the spools myself. Easy peasy. Do it!!!!
