Hello Valued Customer. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review with us. It is unfortunate to learn that the TRIVAC 12-Amp Electric 3-IN-1 Blower/Mulcher/Yard Vacuum (WG512) did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your feedback as this will help us improve with our products. -Shelby L.
I have just come inside after 10 minutes of work and 20 for cleanup. The unit works as long as there are no branches/twigs that will jam it, you can get the opening close enough to such up the leaves, and the stuff to be sucked up is not very dry. It creates a cloud of dust so be sure to protect your lungs and eyes. Plan on a shower and washing your clothes and shoes or you will look and feel like you just got in from a dust storm. I would rather use a mulching mower than this. To be fair, it is summer and the leaves were really dry.

[Employee of worx] The Old Trivac would get jammed from small branches or mulch and would not be able to chop these small pieces and the motor would burn out. Have they solved this issue with the new design? With the weight of the bag and no trap to help support this tool, how does a consumer handle carrying all this weight?

Hello Valued Customer!
Thank you for your interest in the new Trivacs we have available. Our new versions are lighter in weight and have more blower power. We have also made major changes to our bag materials.

I have tried numerous electric and battery powered leaf vacuums. The Trivac is by far…the best leaf vac I’ve used. I have three 30-40ft. Magnolia trees- which I believe are the toughest leaves for a vac to handle. This is my 3rd season with this vac and I absolutely love it for the following reasons-where others have failed. Excellent vacuum power/motion. I vac over my driveway and mulch. When the strap is appropriately set to your height and the vac opening is about an inch or two above the ground - this vac will only pick up material that is light weight (i.e. no rocks), and has “area”. It won’t vac the mulch (unless you place the opening directly flat on top for the mulch), won’t pick up rocks, etc. so these items won’t damage or bind the blade. Important to Magnolia leaves… I greatly, greatly appreciate the one piece, wide mouth, design of the chute- does not constantly clog. During the drop season of my trees- I vac every day (except Sundays, have to take one day off) for 4-5 months. This machine has been extremely durable and is well made. The mulched leaf opening to the bag is sufficient to never clog. The mulch ratio is excellent… I can do the droppings of my three trees during their heaviest drop into one bag…a lot of leaves. As I said - I’ve had many others that have failed on one or more of the other points. It’s taken me years to find a unit that can handle magnolia leaves and not clog the unit either in or out to the bag. I haven’t used a battery powered unit that either has the power or long enough charge to handle a decent size job. It has some weight but when the strap is appropriately set…it’s ok. Again, this is by far the best machine!
It is great at vacuuming and mulching but only in 15-20 minute intervals. Then you have to charge both battery packs again. Very disappointing. Had to drag my corded blower out again.

Hello Valued Customer! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review with us. Our 20V batteries work on a variety of tools and have average runtimes of up to 30 minutes. However, blowers use more power and when the blower is on the highest setting it will deplete the battery's power more quickly. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and helps us understand where we can improve.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The trivac is very short and makes it difficult to use. I've also had issues with the leaves getting clogged. WOuld not buy again if I had a choice.
