Not what I expected

I purchased this for the mulching capability of 11 bags to 1 bag Seems to clog up with leaves and pine straw. Not to mention that the weed eater line doesn’t last long under normal conditions
Just another item that will take up space in the utility shed.

It is recommended with the mulcher running, feed double handfuls of dry leaves, or single handfuls of wet leaves, into the funnel. Allow the machine to shred the load completely and regain speed before inserting the next handful. Do not overload the machine by letting it labor at low speed: this may cause the motor to stop. I am a New England gardener with five 60 foot oak trees 2000 feet of garden beds. I used to bag leaves for pickup and have 25 or so bags every week for the 4 weeks of November and give up after that. Now we shread all of the leaves and put them in the flower beds after the keaf season and put a light coating of compost on top in the spring and no longer buy mulch! This year I ran slmost all of the garden bed cuttings tgrough the mulcher with little trouble for composting. It will break down faster and is easier to turn the compost. I went through a few strings and Worx didn't have this in mind but this is now my favorite Worx tool!

Really does mulch the leaves. Works like a weed wackier . The plastic lines break fairly easily. Have to have extra line. Over all it is easy to use.

Needs a lot of maintenance. mulching lines wear out quickly of oak leaves. manual neglects to alert to dismantle power housing to clear air vent. plugs up quickly. no good on wet or damp leaves. from one tree drop I had to replace trimmer lines 4 times in 95 minutes of work.

This is a great leaf mulcher!!!! I've tried others that would just bog down as soon as I started mulching, not the Worx mulcher, it runs like a champ. Have been using my mulcher for years. It works on wet leaves when my gas woodchipper just clogs up. This has been a life saver for me. Only downsides are noise, dust, and the line wear due to sticks getting in the hopper with my leaves. That said, it is alot quieter than my gas woodchipper/mulcher and works when the woodchipper won't. It turns what used to be multiple pickup truck loads of leaves densely packed into lawn waste bags into a modest pile that I can compost by spring and use for fertilizer.

Just got my new leaf mulcher. Makes easy work of my leaves. What usually goes to the landfill now goes into my gardens. I have lots of trees so going to make fast work of all my leaves.

WE JUST FINISHED UP THE LEAVES AND I MUST ENCOURAGE YOU TO CONSIDER BUYING THIS MULCHER. IT WAS AMAZING HOW IT TURNED PILES OF LEAVES INTO FINELY SHREDDED MULCH. WE CENTERED THE STAND OVER LARGE TRASH CANS SO WHEN EACH WAS FILLED UP IT WAS EASY TO DUMP OVER THE GARDEN. THIS WAS WORTH IT'S COST!

I particularly like the start-stop system and the bag removal frame, as they were different in another model that had to be sent back to the manufacturer twice to fix
