Worked good but a few things need improvement

Got it yesterday and mulched 10 bags of leaves today. It did a good job no real complaint about that. The issue I have is the top black funnel piece dosen't snap down tight it actually came off a few times while I was using it. I was also looking at the availability of spare parts and it looks like the part that may break (the plastic piece that holds the cutting string) is not available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When i first decided to try it i wasn't sure that a plastic cutter was being used to shred the leaves would work very well ,but when i tried it for the first time it worked perfectly ,it did a perfect job i was completely satisfied & it did the job very quickly ,i would give it 5 stars .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put the leaf muncher through a good test this fall and I can say it passed! I did change two things to make it a better mulcher for me. First thing I did was I removed the line trimmer blade inside, because when I was mulching damp leaves they would get hung up on line trimmer and eventually plug up. Just make sure the line is the correct length when installing new. Second thing I changed was a different trimmer line. I use a .080 line that I use with my weed wacker. Last about 3 times longer. It is very noisy so I wear hearing protection. And safety glasses. Seems to be well built and a 3 year warranty is also nice insurance.

Works as expected

Used for about 10 hours but in short increments. Electric motors are prone to over heating and I've taken steps to allow the shredder to cool down. It shreds as expected and is providing a nice mulch for garden beds and compost. Feed slowly and remove Riggs and other debris and you will get good performance
