Gets the job done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put the leaf muncher through a good test this fall and I can say it passed! I did change two things to make it a better mulcher for me. First thing I did was I removed the line trimmer blade inside, because when I was mulching damp leaves they would get hung up on line trimmer and eventually plug up. Just make sure the line is the correct length when installing new. Second thing I changed was a different trimmer line. I use a .080 line that I use with my weed wacker. Last about 3 times longer. It is very noisy so I wear hearing protection. And safety glasses. Seems to be well built and a 3 year warranty is also nice insurance.

Works as expected

Used for about 10 hours but in short increments. Electric motors are prone to over heating and I've taken steps to allow the shredder to cool down. It shreds as expected and is providing a nice mulch for garden beds and compost. Feed slowly and remove Riggs and other debris and you will get good performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tool to grind up DRY leaves. The drier the leaves, the easier they are to flow through and get whipped to bits by the plastic wires inside. I would recommend a tarp on the ground underneath the tool so that you have less to clean up of the flying debris. The finer the debris, the quicker it will break down in my compost pile.

The electric leaf Mulcher is exactly what I wanted. Does a great job of chopping up dry leaves and turns them into a mulch which drains well. Actually fits right on top of 30 gal garbage can so easy to move the mulch to wherever you need it.
