great but motor died

I researched leaf mulchers and was convinced this was what I needed. I wasn't disappointed. It works great. The only problem is that after 2 years, in our 3rd season of use, the motor died on me. The problem - Worx discontinued the motors. So, I'm now out a leaf mulcher. We'll see how their warranty and their customer service is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this at the beginning of fall. It is fairly sturdy, easy to assemble, and starts and stops with no problem. It does not shred the leaves as finely as my gas chipper/shredder, does not handle wet or fibrous leaves well, and does not handle sticks of any size. That said, I can use it by myself instead of depending on my husband to do the job with me, it is not as loud and there are no gas fumes, so it's worth having.

Works as advetised but not sure of value

I have only used this machine once so far. It works as advertised but there is a lot of dust and I am unable to use the paper bags bought in the box stores. The bag openings are too small for the ring and you have to rip the bag to make it fit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good, but could be better

This thing will definitely cut the amount of bags you use by a lot. Only problem is it'll take you a very long time. Having to stop and change out the line every 5 to 10 minutes gets old real quick. I had to switch to a thicker line and got it to last much longer as well as mulch better. An area for improvement would be a bigger mulching area so leafs don't clog as well as making the drum which holds the leaves needs to be taller so more than a scoop can be mulched. I eventually had to give up and just burnt my leaves because it would've taken me way too long. Would be great for smaller yards with few trees, not for a yard with lots of trees or leaves. Otherwise prepare to spend a whole weekend mulching. Love the Worx products and I will still use this, just not as much as I would've hoped.

I got this for my husband who has been dealing with leafs for weeks. Absolutely a life saver. Cut the amount of bags in over half. Highly recommend!

Very tentative when I bought this. Regardless what we do each fall, leaves pile up everywhere that is so difficult to get to. Come spring....there they are. And no way to rid yourselves of them easily.
