Easy set-up and very functionally sound.

Had my eye on one of these since quite a while back. Decided to search reviews before buying and found out that for the difference in price the Worx product was said to be the best for the buck. This seems to hold true. The mulcher is very easy to put together, it was up in no time, instructions are clear. I have two large pecan trees in the backyard and have always had problems with the pecan's thin twigs when trying to use the vacuum attachment of the blower I own. Those twigs are just too thick and clog up the pickup tube of the vacuum. This increases the time used to unclog it constantly. I has worried that the Worx Mulcher would have the same problem. I am pleasantly surprised with the results, this mulcher goes through leafs and the small branches effortlessly. You can feed them together at the same time without much difficulty. The throat limits the feeding so it doesn't choke-up with too much at once. It does lessen the volume size so you will use less bags too. I checked the "strings" that cut down the material being mulched after doing the whole yard and found them complete and without damage. Bottom line, this thing "worx" better than I thought if would. The only drawback to mention, is not the Mulcher's fault, dry leafs give out lots of fine dust. I recommend using a mask, a hat and of course eye protection. Long sleeves should also be considered to minimise the itching. Thanks.

Such a time and bag saver

This is our third year to use our mulcher......it has worked very well for us. It doesn’t like twigs much as we have to pull them out when it hangs up and we have to change out the line often but we have huge oak trees that drop lots of leaves. It can be messy and dusty when mulching the leaves but has been a great bag and time saver. We can get in 5 or so bags what used to take way over 20 large contractor size bags. Highly recommend this unit.

Good mulcher but bad bag ring design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mulcher works good but the bag ring is not long enough to work as shown in the video, i.e. it will not go around the top of the stand. Needs to be at least 4-5 inches longer. I've talked to support twice and they even sent a second unit but it had the same problem. I emailed back the second time but have not heard anything which is disappointing. They either have a design issue or manufacturing issue in China. The only time you may need the ring is if the paper or plastic bag is not long enough to reach the ground when in the stand. I have a lot of Worx products but this is the first major issue I've had with them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this as I have a half acre of lawn with shade trees, I got tired of raking and bagging so this cuts my leaf time in half. Just make sure to get a high quality cord to avoid running hit and burning up

I've got an acre of maple and oak. This mulcher is terrific. Very fast. Light weight and easy to move around. No more bagging of leaves.

Great for garden mulch

Picking up leaves and using the leaf mulcher. Just took it to the garden and let the mulched leaves fall right where it was. Didn't use a bag, just moved the mulcher when we needed to. Great little machine.
