Leaf muncher - love it!

Love the Fall but hate all the leaves. I saw the muncher on tv and thought I would give it a whirl. Used our Word portable blower and blew out all the flower gardens into a giant pile. With a couple of extension cords and 44 gallon bags, I set to work. It was amazing how fast it went. I used my plastic hand rakes to scoop up the leaves and dump in the mulcher. I couldn't believe how quickly the huge like went and it only took one bag. Since the unit is so easy to move, I moved it to another part of the yard and did the same thing. Easy peasy. The bags held a lot of leaves but amazingly they weren't that heavy. I would definitely recommend.

Fall Leaf Work Just got Easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great purchase the Electric Leaf Mulcher chews up the leaves and cuts down on the number of bags needs for my fall cleanup. This has saved me from the back pain that usually comes with the constant bending to pickup and bag the leaves. Now all I do is scoop them with my rake into the Word mulcher...trust me you will be happy with this purchase!!!

It just worked

I was using the Worx blower to blow the leaves together, then just dropped them into the mulcher. I filled one large plastic bag with a lot of leaves without an issue.

I bought the Leaf Mulcher a few weeks ago and used it today. It worked ok. With 3 bags mulched I had to put 4 new sets of strings in the mulcher because they sheared off. Other than that, make sure the leaves are dry and do not put sticks or walnuts from a black walnut tree in the hopper. Those 2 items will definitively break the strings. Easy to put together and I believe it comes with a 3 year warranty. Definitely not made to be used as a commercial tool.
