Paper bagging is impossible

My community requires either burning leaves or bagging them. They require paper bags for trash pickup on yard waste days. It's impossible, the supplied paper bag ring to keep the bag open won't stay in place no matter how many adjustments you make to it. The bag opening is much smaller than the shredded exhausted leaves, they fly all over the place.
Overall the shredding works, although somewhat slow but with the paper bagging it's a total mess. You're better off using a plastic bag for your mulch and dump them into your paper bag. Worx should should come up with a funnel system to get the shredded leaves into a paper bag. I would recommend this to a friend, but only if they weren't required to use paper trash bags.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and review! When using a paper bag with support ring, place the bag into the stand from the top. Use two screws and wing nuts to connect both ends of the bag support ring. Place the hardware in a position that allows the bag support ring to best fit the paper bag you are using. Make sure to Fold the paper bag inside along the fill line of the bag. (See Fig K1,K2 in the owners manual.) Please never hesitate to contact us directly with any questions or concerns. This unit works great with dry material. When the leaves are a little damp things tend to clog up and it is necessary to turn off the unit and unclog by hand. Also, when the leaves are damp the cutting line wears out quite fast. Changing the line is easy but requires changing more often than I would like. All in all I'm glad I bought it and it will make Fall clean up a lot easier.

Simple to use / Works well

Easy to assemble in just a few minutes and is compact when you need to store it away. Works well and mulches leaves quickly. I use the plastic 42 gallon trash bags and they work just fine. Changing the cutter string is easy and only takes a few minutes to do when needed. The only thing I watch is not to allow sticks into the mix as they tend to shorten the life of the string by breaking them.

Very noisy,very messy (blows mulched leaves out of top all over) and does not chop fine enough to use on smaller containers. Even ran it through twice. Hole you put leaves into is too large. OK for larger planting beds. And I am "short" so item is a little taller than I can reach comfortably.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used blower-vacuums before and they are a lot more trouble for bagging, etc. than the Worx Mulcher. It is so much easier to use all the way around. There is only one issue -- the line doesn't last long enough. Is there weed eater line that is stronger than that supplied with the Mulcher?
