Leaves yes, twigs no.

Does a great job shredding leaves, but "chokes" on twigs. Line is too fragile and needs to be changed too frequently. Since leaves and twigs occur naturally together, I wouldn't recommend this product for homeowner use.

Does not properly mulch

The mulcher failed to mulch most of the leaves. Estimate only 25% of the leaves were properly mulched...I returned unit.

Simple & easy to use

I was looking for an organic, decomposing mulch for my vegetable garden and a friend suggested you leaf mulcher. I ordered it, it came sooner than expected and I put it to work. I mulched enough oak leaves in a short amount of time and was completely pleased with the ease of use and the excellent job it did on the leaves.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This tool does not work.

I have tried 2 years now to use it. It just doesn't shred the leaves unless you push them down (and risk hand injury). I have better luck running fallen leaves through my lawn mower. Don't bother with this. It's also very noisy.

OUT OF ALL THE EIGHT WORX PRODUCTS THAT I OWN, THIS MULCHER IS THE BEST. THREE OF MY NEIGHBORS USE THIS DURING THE FALL. ACTUALLY I HAVE TO SAY THAT ABOUT ALL THE WORX PRODUCTS THAT WE OWN. WE ALSO HAVE THE BLOWERS AND EDGERS AND THE POWER SCREWDRIVER.

This mulcher is so easy to use, set up, and store. I mulched 29 bags of leaves last fall...and then come spring used the mulched leaves in my foundation plantings, perennial garden, and vegetable garden to keep the weeds at bay and to look so "natural"...not like the red mulch everyone buys!!!

I hate it when leaves cover my yard and driveway every fall. Why can’t they just rot on the trees and fall to the ground as compost?
I hate to have to rake them up and burn them because burning is illegal in our county (what are we supposed to do, eat them?), and to make it worse, my son is a fireman so I get it from both sides.
I hate the fact that the mower doesn’t do a better job of mulching them. It just blows them all over where I just cleaned them up.
I hate to use a leaf blower because all it does other than give me an arm ache, is to make bigger piles that cause me more trouble with my son and the county.
I hate it because there are way too many to add to the compost pile and I’m back to burning and my son, and the county. You by now should get the picture. I hate dead leaves!
Then along came this thing from WORX they call a leaf mulcher that looks a lot like a barbecue grill. You plug it in and IT eats the darn leaves and turns them into MULCH! I like mulch. Now I’m almost seventy-five years old and pushin hard on forty, and I don’t need all this aggravation, and have discovered that hate makes you older much quicker. The WORX Leaf Mulcher is one great machine that makes life so much easier and leaf mulching almost a pleasure.
The only thing I hate now is when the darn power goes out,or it rains and I can’t mulch, and can’t even burn the blasted things!

Our neighborhood association allows only 10 bags per week. In the past we have had to put out up to 20 bags per week during the leaf season. I am now able to put out only 2 bags per week. There are a few things one should know when using this tool. The cutting strings wear out very easily and I have had to replace 2 times per use in filling the two bags. The company should provide these free of charge. The unit doesn't fit any known container that I know of to hold the mulch. I have had to improvise. The company should provide or sell a device that allows the paper bags that are required to store the mulched leaves for pickup to fit under the machine. Other than these 2 inconvenient features if you have a lot of leaves to collect this is the way to go.
