I have the electric leaf mulcher and it saves a lot of bags. It's a great tool and not too noise. I have bought several items from Works and all have been great products and cost savings.

Clogs every few minutes - not worth your time

Under normal midwest conditions and without rain over the last 3-4 days, I put one shovel of leaves into the funnel at a time, but the mulcher gets clogged every few minutes. This forces me to turn off the mulcher and push my hand through the slots to unclog it and allow the leaves to go through. The product page mentions it will process 53 gallons per minute, but it is taking me 30 minutes to fill a 30 gallon bag given how it clogs every few minutes. Very disappointed with the purchase - don't waste your time with this one!

great machine

This is 3rd season using machine and really like it. I do use a slightly heavier gauge cutting wire in it so I don't have to change wire as often. One question is whether the worx vacuum product with the bag that goes over garbage cans could be adapted to feed the leaves into the shredder. This would eliminate hand feeding the leaves into the shredder. I have lots of leaves and could not get the cleanup done without this shredder.

Tougher than you think

I bought this product after moving onto a property abandoned for 2 years, meaning 2 years plus worth of leaves and grass to clean up. While I wouldn't feed this machine anything but twigs it's chewed through 7 cartfuls of leaves and grass clippings so far without ANY issues at all. Except for changing the whips every now and again. And it really does reduce the bulk by a good 10:1 ratio and more.
It's not so great with wet stuff, or fresh. But if you're patient and let it dry out some it'll get it.
I'm so pleased to have bought an item that lives up to the manufacturers promises and this little mulcher does.

not worth the cost

The first time I used this, the leaves fell through the opening and no mulching occurred. It seemed the cord was too short; which I replaced, but it didn't do any good. This leaf mulcher DOES NOT mulch the leaves. A handheld vacuum does a better job in mulching the leaves it picks up. Do NOT buy. It will be another piece of junk in your shed

I've owned two of these in the last 4 years. Both have died in the process of being used. It was embarrassing, at the time, to have go back to the old way of mulching leaves. At best, the durability of this product is suspect. However, the product is well conceived and would have been great, if it had more longevity.
