Impressive results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Must have product for fall cleanup! Easy to assemble and operate! Does an impressive job of mulching leafs. I have a .75 acre lot with lots of big trees. This mulcher helped cut down on the amount of time/bags required to bag up the leaves! It’s a mush have for those that have tons of leaves!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used this leaf mulcher a few times and it shreds the leaves as advertised. I love the compact storage and ease of use. Roughly 4 average size wheelbarrow loads of raked up leaves fills a normal store bought plastic lawn bag after being chopped. Those bags fit perfectly on the machine. I only wish the filter was easier to access but other than that it’s been great so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this a couple weeks ago and am happy with its performance considering that it’s essentially a string trimmer. Can’t believe the Worx engineers designed such a poor air intake filtering system. The design has a glued filter inside the motor housing that has to be disassembled to clean. Utterly stupid design. Should be an external and replaceable filter which would eliminate a lot of unnecessary downtime. I am sure that a lot of people don’t notice this and allow the air intake to clog which overheats the motor and causes it to fail. Terrible design on this.

Turns leaves into dust

Today I used the WORX-13 amp leaf mulcher for the first time. The machine is amazing, I had a full yard of Aspen and Maple leaves, that would have been many plastic bags, were turned to dust and fit in the large green waste can. We did change out the line to a heaver trimmer line and it worked just as well, and didn't break down as fast. This was only the first time through the Fall leaves, I know I will have a few more sessions to mulch all the leaves in the yard.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i bought this thinking the little video i watched was the way it worked....nope. I think this company has some good engineers and has improved tools nicely. this one needs some work:
1. find a way to make this a "40V" item... would love to convert my plug in to a battery...makes for yard placement much easier.
2. make changing the strings easier. i have to remove the whole top to get at the bolt ...which is hard to remove
3. more strings to the head...machine has trouble keeping up with the loading process..have to wait for it to catch up and then its time to change the plastic strings that do the work
4. breakdown for storage...you need a system that is easy to store, because it is a large piece

I have the electric leaf mulcher and it saves a lot of bags. It's a great tool and not too noise. I have bought several items from Works and all have been great products and cost savings.

design flaw

two problems: the plastic line as it degrades doesn't mulch the leaves in the pot and they get clogged. You end up after ten minutes having to stir the pot and it is highly inefficient. Other issue is the degraded plastic is mixed in with my leaf mulch which I intend to use in my vegetable garden and I dont want to have all these microplastic pieces mixed in my soils being absorbed by them and the vegetables I am growing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clogs every few minutes - not worth your time

Under normal midwest conditions and without rain over the last 3-4 days, I put one shovel of leaves into the funnel at a time, but the mulcher gets clogged every few minutes. This forces me to turn off the mulcher and push my hand through the slots to unclog it and allow the leaves to go through. The product page mentions it will process 53 gallons per minute, but it is taking me 30 minutes to fill a 30 gallon bag given how it clogs every few minutes. Very disappointed with the purchase - don't waste your time with this one!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
