Works better than expected

We have several large trees which means lots of leaves in the fall and this mulcher does a great job of mulching dry leaves up that can be used in the garden or cutting down on the bags. The only issue with it is the mulcher will plug up with wet leaves, but still makes the job easier. Wish I had this years ago.

Workhorse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used it 3 times now and it is a huge time saver and space saver. It mulches the leaves as fast as I can put them in and I use about one-tenth the number of bags I used to use. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because I already had to replace the cutting cords.

Does the job!

Mulches leaves really well; however, it is messy. My husband suggested we put a tarp down in the bed of our truck and set the mulcher up on top of the tarp....worked great! We picked up the leaves with our mower, then poured them into the mulcher - being careful not to pour a huge amount in all at once - worked great. Headed down to the compost site and then slid the mulched leaves out of the truck - worked great! Kept a lot of the mulched leaves for my flower gardens which went on easily and stayed put.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for yard leaves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and have used it on my year leaves and for the money it does a great job mulching dry leases. I also used it on some semi wet leaves and it did a good job on those too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last week and I put in to use immediately upon getting it -- assembly was easy - it mulches dry leaves a lot better than some that are wet or semi-wet - the 11:1 ratio probably works out better for really dry leaves because it seems to turn those into dust - it even mulches small sticks with little to no effort (although this will reduce the life span of the weed eater string used to mulch -- I would recommend larger bags though -- I found that leaf bags over 40 gallons work very well!!!! - this product made picking up leaves in my yard so much easier - no more bending over and scooping up leaves with my hands - I use a pitch fork like tool that is used to muck stalls - works great!!!

Powerful and works well

I purchased this a few weeks ago. I have used it in my fall leaf cleaning. As long as the leaves are mostly dry it works very well. If the leaves are too damp they tend to stick in the bin and get mulched and re-mulched until they are very fine I can put my whole yard into two bags. It used to be 20.
