Makes great compost material!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We vacuum with the Trivac directly into this mulcher for ultra fine compost-works great. Powerful motor and like how it breaks down to store.

Mulched a huge pile of leaves into 2 large leaf bags in less than 15 minutes! Actually worked better than I thought it would. Very pleased with purchase!

Hate it and love it

It works great BUT. The mulched leaves get in behind the on/off switch and you cant get the switch to go in all the way to shut it off. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove the cover of the switch to clean it out. I have tried using a compressed air to blow it out, but some remains and again, I cant get the switch pushed back in to shut off. Poor design IMO.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have several large trees which means lots of leaves in the fall and this mulcher does a great job of mulching dry leaves up that can be used in the garden or cutting down on the bags. The only issue with it is the mulcher will plug up with wet leaves, but still makes the job easier. Wish I had this years ago.

Workhorse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used it 3 times now and it is a huge time saver and space saver. It mulches the leaves as fast as I can put them in and I use about one-tenth the number of bags I used to use. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because I already had to replace the cutting cords.

Mulches leaves really well; however, it is messy. My husband suggested we put a tarp down in the bed of our truck and set the mulcher up on top of the tarp....worked great! We picked up the leaves with our mower, then poured them into the mulcher - being careful not to pour a huge amount in all at once - worked great. Headed down to the compost site and then slid the mulched leaves out of the truck - worked great! Kept a lot of the mulched leaves for my flower gardens which went on easily and stayed put.
I would recommend this to a friend!
